A little bit about our mission...
Uncle Cory Scholarships was founded by Cory's family. After Cory passed away we discovered just how much of an impact he had on the lives of so many people. We want to contiune his legacy and his passion for helping others. UCS is just one of the many ways we can honor him and keep his memory alive. We want to contiune to tell his story and share the wonderful memories we have of such an amazing person. We know he would be so proud and honored that UCS is able to help so many families and most importantly...kids!!! Cory never had the chance to be a father, but the love he had for his nieces and nephews will never be forgotten. As his family, UCS gives us something to look forward to even during this long grieving process. Our main fundraiser for UCS is a weekend long event called CoryFest held at The Vault in Rockland, WI. It is a weekend full of all things that Cory loved: darts, kickball, volleyball, bean bags, music, dancing, singing, fireworks, and hanging out with friends. Eventually we would like to add softball and a few other things. The Vault was like a second home to Cory and the people there were like family. Since his passing, The Vault and its patrons have welcomed us with open arms and continue to share the heartache as well as memories that Cory left behind.
CoryFest will be held at the end of June each year.
